Feeling old

This evening, while hanging out in Leland's dorm, I was in the space of 10 minutes mistaken for:
syd___ suggested I could write about my feelings about Qatar while I'm in the U.S., so here's my thought about Qatar for the day:
When I heard about the new bin Laden tape threatening more attacks on the U.S., my first, automatic thought was, "Thank God I'll be safely back in the Middle East soon." That's not a thought I expected to have when I moved to Qatar.
