Self-paced WHAT?

A colleague in Pittsburgh just e-mailed my coworker here about the resources we have for students' pronunciation work. But the actual sentence went:

"That's why we have the self-paced pron videos."

Needless to say, neither of us read that as "pronunciation" the first time through.

I kinda like the idea of self-paced pron videos. The viewer decides how fast the action moves along.
Might work for pronunciation too.

the "sing along" variety of tape, instructing folks to do what they see? I certainly imagine that would require some heavy self-pacing features. Those Pr0n stars have the stamina of machines (or actually take long breaks between scenes).
