The Doha Debate on the equality of women is showing on BBC World this weekend. We just watched it, and it's playing again twice on Sunday, at 7:10 a.m. and 5:10 p.m. GMT. I posted the wrong times last week because I forgot about daylight savings. The correct times are:
12:10 a.m. and 10:10 a.m. in California
3:10 a.m. and 1:10 p.m. in Pennsylvania

Sadly they didn't air Chuck's question about equality in education, which resulted in the panelists accusing him of NOT LACTATING. You can, however, see a number of our friends and coworkers and students in the audience reaction shots. You can even see me in the background, when a gentleman in a suit is asking a question.

Yeah, that's about the sophistication of their comeback. I was disappointed, since I thought his question was a good one.

I wish I got BBC World and not just BBC America.

I also hope I get the chance to TA in the Spring, and I hope if I do get the opportunity, the Doha Debates continue.

They are planning to do another season of them, starting in September. Originally it was just supposed to be the one series, but they've been so well-received they decided to keep going. Yay!
