And, this last weekend, the New York Times ran a profile of kick-ass Iranian race car champion (and doctoral student) Laleh Seddigh.

The quote that got me last week was this one by Condoleeza Rice:

"Disrespect for the Holy Koran is not now, nor has it ever been, nor will it ever be, tolerated by the United States. We honor the sacred books of all the world's great religions."

We do???

And I thought the U.S. tolerated disrespect for just about anything. It's one of those pesky "free speech" things.
