I was being silly. I know the Qatar to Egypt route does not involve flying anywhere near me. Also I think the only Arab airline to cross our airspace, if even them, would be the Royal Jordanian Airlines. The "customary" route (used by some business-people, or people leap-frogging to the Far-East) to get from here to you, usually involves a stop in Frankfurt!
As to Mecca, if their law hasn't been changed (which I doubt), being caught anywhere in Saudi-Arabia would involve the death-penalty for lil' ol' me, so I'll pass on that one. :-)
