dubaiwalla: a student in Dubai has been jailed for 3 months after saying in an online chatroom that men having sex with men is a personal matter and the government shouldn't interfere.
As a friend succinctly put it:
"Yeah, how dare he incite immoral behavior like having sex with men? Why can't he stick to moral pleasures, like shoving a cattle-prod up someone's ass? ... which the UAE seems to have deemed 'okay'."
