If you have ever worried about my health and safety when I've traveled to a country the State Department says is unsafe, you should know that the Qatari government has just advised the public to postpone nonessential travel to the U.S. due to the risk of swine flu.

According to Qatar Living, yes - the list is "USA, Mexico, Canada, UK and other countries which report confirmed cases of swine influenza".

It's the aporkalypse, I tell you.

I've also heard the suggestion that the flu, officially known as "Type A (H1N1)", be known by its name in leetspeak - specifically, "H1N1" would be pronounced "Heeny". I like the name.
