qatarperegrineI met with the head of the English department and the director of the Qatar Writing Center this morning. The department head started out by saying, "It seems to me that the question before us is not whether you should be involved in the Writing Center, but in what capacity." What a nice way to start an interview!
So, as with Justin, the details have not been ironed out and there's nothing in writing. But it sounds like I will be spending the next year tutoring English and writing skills at CMU-Q. Since the director of the Writing Center is currently seven months pregnant, there's also a possibility that I might be in charge during her maternity leave. Scary! :-)
