one can putin coordinates there and when people click on them they go to the google-map site with those coordinates. How to get those co-ords if you don't know them ? go to maps.google.com center on the spot you want the coordinates of and click the link to this link (upper right corner ) example ( this should be close already )http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&q=doha,+qatar&ll=25.299999,51.509998&spn=2.234725,5.537109
now in the above link the bit between ll= and the next & those are the coordinates expected. Problem: there may be no maps in googlemaps of the area ( google is a bit Anglocentric ) in that case the centering has to be done by satellite photograph ( like I do, Germany is not on the maps either) I am here http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&q=cologne,+germany&ll=50.918403,6.92276&spn=0.097398,0.346069&t=k and the only reason that is in the posts yet is that I prefer to use semagic to post and they don't have that option yet)
