Next: The Infinite Variety Show
Jan. 13th, 2010 10:01 pmI just discovered that my all-time favorite movie short has been YouTubeized!
It is Barry Purves' "Next: The Infinite Variety Show," featuring William Shakespeare auditioning with Royal Shakespeare Company founder Sir Peter Hall, by acting out all of his plays in under 5 minutes. How many can you catch?
(I don't feel too bad about the copyright violation, given that this is otherwise only available on a 1989 Aardman Animation VHS video compliation.)
When I created my own midi ring tone for my very first cell phone, this music is what I painstakingly programmed in.
