Is this Qatar?

For the first time, we just watched TV in our new apartment. We no longer have most of the channels we usually watched in Riviera -- the Discovery Channel, BBC World, and so on. But we do now have Maharishi TV, "Bringing Knowledge and Experience of Enlightenment and Permanent World Peace to the Hearts and Homes of Everyone." Mostly this seems to involve broadcasting paintings of Hindu gods while people chant vedas or explain in dreamy voices about Natural Law and Eternal Bliss.

Unrelatedly, we also get about a dozen channels of naked women. I'm so confused.
