This last weekend, Justin and I ran a photo scavenger hunt for faculty and staff. I think it went pretty well, a few rocky moments notwithstanding. (Note to self: next time, go over the rules
before you send the teams off!)
The scavenger hunt had three sections. For "Shutterbug," teams were given a list of about 60 items they could photograph for points, ranging from the everyday (a dhow = 1 point) to the unusual (today's Pittsburgh Post-Gazette = 23 points). For "Eyeball Bender," they were given close-up pictures of familiar Doha landmarks, which they had to identify and then re-photograph. And for the more subjective "Ansel Adams" round, teams were given quotes that they were supposed to interpret in whatever way they saw fit.
I've posted some of the best pictures:
Al Hannah Scavenger Hunt. I'm particularly partial to the conga line pictures.
