Changing my tune(s)
May. 8th, 2005 08:59 pmI was blasting the radio on the way to pick Justin up from work this evening, and I came to two sudden realizations.
First, I like hip-hop more than I'm willing to admit. (Shhh!)
Second, and most importantly, I'm pretty bored with my current music selection. I've only bought a couple of albums in the last year, and I'm tired of my "Favorites" playlist. And I'm so unhip, I can't even identify the genres of music I like on the radio, let alone the bands.
SO. I invite anyone reading this to suggest to me an artist and/or album that you think I'd enjoy. If it's on iTunes, I'll look it up and let you know if I decided to buy it or not. :-)
Most represented bands on my current Favorites playlist, in case that will help: Barenaked Ladies, Beatles, Blue Man Group, Chambawamba, Dido, The Doors, Evanescence, Loreena McKennett, Manau, Pet Shop Boys (shut up), Peter Paul & Mary, Pink Floyd, Simon & Garfunkel, They Might Be Giants, Tori Amos, Uncle Bonsai, Violent Femmes, Voltaire
