Q-Post, the Qatari Post Office, just began a new program: personalized stamps. For QR15 ($4.10) you can go in, have a digital picture taken of you or your family or friends, and they'll print it on a sheet of stamps.

Back in the saddle again!

Until Christmas, I was doing really well with exercise: training 5-6 times a week and gearing up for the 27-mile triathlon our neighbor David suggested a couple months ago. Then came Christmas, and then I got a cold, and then we went to India, and then I got another cold and, well, I didn't go to the gym for over a month.

But I'm back, baby! On Tuesday I started swimming again, and just now I biked 9K. Woo! Go, me! Alright, it's not that impressive, but I think the endorphins haven't worn off yet. Woooo!

There's no way I can do a 27-mile triathlon in two months, but I've revised my training schedule to gear up for a 27-kilometer triathlon, and I think that's very doable.
