Yay!

Two exciting pieces of news this morning:

• They're still working on the legal language for the official contract, but the team has hashed out some basic guidelines. So we have finally been told what our stipend will be and how some of the benefits will apply to us. Thus I have finally been able to sit down with our budget for next year and determine that, yes, this will work. Even if I don't have a job, we will probably be able to squeak by with our savings.
  
• The English department e-mailed me to set up a job interview next week!!! I'm terribly excited. From what I know now, I think the position sounds ideal for me, and I do think I'd be able to do it quite well. We'll see!
