Well the most classic example would be the Red Heifer (Numbers 19), which purifies the "unclean", while at the same time, makes unclean the "pure" that come in contact with it, either in preparation or in actual usage. But there are numerous other examples, that from a strictly human POV, don't "make sense" (now or ever).
