Not that it helps now, but you don't tend to get as nauseous with doxy if you have yogurt a few hours after taking it. Or at least that's true with rats.
Good for you for standing up for yourself. Maybe if the first doctor would become competent and learn some people skills he'd have a better time with his patients. It's like someone I remember from the call center who would always moan about the fact that he got all the difficult shouty customers. We tried to explain to him that he got the exact same random sampling that we all did, and it was his belligerent attitude that pissed his customers off. But there was no telling him - he was convinced he just got the nasty people.
