Now I know where I wanna go for spring break...
Yesterday I went to the new bookstore in City Center Mall. Due to the astonishing paucity of bookstores in Doha, the opening of a new one -- in a mall, no less -- was cause for much celebration.
Unfortunately, the selection is rather small and extremely haphazard. The best moment was when I wandered into the travel section and found this:
(For the uninitiated, Lancre is a fictional location from Terry Pratchett's Discworld novels.)
And, while I'm posting cell phone pictures, here's another exciting find I made yesterday: I finally tracked down a source of black nail polish in Doha! And lipstick, even! Goth Marj celebrates!!!
